The program is free to the public, but please register at https://forms.gle/8RqfjpJhRAqFafFb7
Optional Lunch: Join us for an optional lunch afterwards. $10/12 cash/credit for members or $15/17cash/credit for non-members.
About the Presentation
In February of 2025, Kaitlin partnered with the National Museum of the Mighty Eighth Air Force to share her grandparents’ journey and love letters as they navigated their relationship during her grandfather’s imprisonment in Stalag XVII-B during WWII, highlighting the power of the human spirit against the backdrop of war. Kaitlin is returning to deliver a broader message that highlights the fates of enlisted Airmen across Nazi Germany, with a focus on certain Geneva Conventions as well as more in-depth stories of the treatment of prisoners at Stalag XVII-B. This presentation is designed to also introduce the new Airman’s Fate exhibit planned at the museum.
