The National Museum of the Mighty Eighth Air Force will launch History Headquarters: Youth History Club on Oct. 7.
Designed with homeschooling and visiting families in mind, the program brings World War II history to life through hands-on activities that connect history, STEM and literature.
The first meet-up, “Introduction to the Mighty Eighth,” will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Participants will also be introduced to the club’s recommended read, “The War That Saved My Life” by Kimberly Brubaker Bradley.
