We make our meeting and special event rooms in this incredible facility available for rental in order to support the mission of the Museum. We would be delighted to have the opportunity to welcome you and your guests and would be pleased to be the host location for your meeting or special event. We have a number of different rooms in which we host events, ranging in size from 10 in our elegantly appointed executive style Hunter Board room to 300 in our impressive ballroom, the General Lewis E. Lyle Rotunda, and everything in-between! Each of our rooms is special and each is unique. Our ever present Meetings and Special Events staff is unparalleled in their dedication and professionalism, tending to every detail, so you don’t have to! We offer one-on-one personal planning for all events ensuring that no detail – no matter how small, is left to chance! Every event is important, no matter big or small, and we think you deserve the best!
For your dining and catering needs the National Museum of the Mighty Eighth Air Force is proud to offer a list of preferred caterers from which you may choose. These caterers have long standing relationships with the Museum and are exceedingly well known in the greater Savannah area as some of the area’s finest. Their offerings, styles, menus and price points vary. We are fully licensed, should you opt to serve alcoholic beverages at your event. We will help you design a beverage service that fits your preferences. Ideally located minutes from downtown Savannah in Pooler, Georgia, our parking is expansive and complimentary, our building is handicap accessible and we are conveniently located less than one mile from I-95 and near many fine area hotels.
